Limited Edition Collection: A/W'15

So our summer collection has flown off the shelf, and with an army of watermelon sipping bitches tottering about we think it's time for new prints, more mesh and more killer clothing.
Festival season may be over but that doesn't mean you can't start your collection for next year, plus with our A/W range you can be warm and still look f***ing fabulous. Alongside our A/W collection we will be launching our limited edition collection, so, not only can you avoid the no basics zone, but you can also be one of a kind..or at least one of a VERY small gang of elite.
The exclusive collection merges an eclectic mix of tie dye, multicoloured mesh with crossed boobie covers and thick sweats! We've seen the basic mesh clothing done before, but tie dye mesh is something fresh and down right crazy. Remember your aim is to be the soul of the party, the queen of the after party and the goddess of the festival. In Be Worn you cannot fail!
Want a run down of the collection?

The XX crop:

The XX crop is perfect for a nasty gal, with a feminine edge. Leave little to the imagination with the leather nipple covers but enough to have everyone looking in ore.

The Choker Crop:

Our new crop top is the essential basic to every girls wardrobe, with open back and high neck, the Be Worn Crop is the ultimate take on the classic sports bra. So simple..yet so sick.

The Multi-Mesh Jumper:
Loved our white mesh sleeve jumper? you will bloody wet yourself over our multicoloured sleeve version. Wet nights are finally upon us and what better way to be snuggly and still have an outfit to kill.

The Multi-Mesh XX Crop:
As if one or the other wasn't enough, combine our two favourite this autumn in a garment you won't find ANYWHERE else. Beware though: you may be swarmed with a mob of basics wanting to know where your garms are from!

10 Signs You're NOT A Basic Bitch

We at Be Worn have one clear aim; to get our clothing noticed and on to the backs of the nations finest, including all of you Be Worn bitches, who we adore, without you guys there would be no us...and without us, that only means one thing...a nation of basic bitches.

Ever wondered what is takes to go from basic to fan-f***ing-tastic? Here's a list we devised of 10 traits that prove you aren't a basic. Enjoy, and thank us later..

1. You knew chokers and braids were cool a year ago, and everyone told you, that you were mad. Now you see people rocking up to afterparties looking like Sean Paul in 2004; and you're just like.."yeah bitch, I told you"

2. You know exactly what time your favourite track starts on almost every mixtape on sound cloud to the millisecond.

3. You manage to end up backstage at most events you go to and have probably been hit on by a DJ at least once.

4. You new about 'those' trainers before they'd even dropped the drop date.

5. You will ALWAYS order a bottle of wine and when the bartender asks "how many glasses?" Your answer is always ONE.

6. You know you have work at 9 in the morning, but your still intent on heading to xoyo for an all night session. After all work won't be as dull when you're in another universe.

7. You know there's no such thing as too much mesh, it's the only thing acceptable to wear double of.

8. There's no shade of lipstick or hair colour you haven't tried, black, purple, pink. You're hot sh*t and you can own it.

9. You've probably been to Ibiza at least once this year and your intent you'll definitely live there one day, after you cried for 3 days after your return. Your outfits also kicked arse day in, day out.

10. You wear Be Worn..of course!

GIRL OF THE MONTH: AUGUST - ROBYN BEVAN (PART 1)

Robyn Bevan talks, the Olsen twins, being braless, and shows us her exceptional VS walk in our exclusive interview for Augusts, Girl Of The Month.

We chose Robyn, a dancer, model and all round fashionista, as our first EVER girl of the month (how fricking exciting). Her love for the London music and fashion scene optimises the things we at Be Worn love. And with her witty, laid-back and quirky sense of humour, who wouldn't want to meet Robyn. We asked Robyn to choose an outfit that she thought defined her sense of style and, I've never seen someone look so utterly, 'WOW' in a pair of vintage dungarees and a stripy tee; ohhh how we all wish the tomboy look could be for us, and this girl does it bloody perfectly. Below is an interview with the lady herself, so if you love a bit of Box Park or simply want to take a peak at Robyn's style make yourself a cuppa (2 sugars please!), put your jim jams on and scroll down, you won't regret the chance to hear from the sickest girl about town.

If you could sum up your style in three words what would they be and why have you chosen these three words?

Spontaneous, that would be because my style can completely vary from day to day; I can see something one day and think how I can adapt that to suit my own personal style. Probably quite tomboyish I’d say; you’ll very, very rarely catch me wearing a dress, I think I own one and it’s leather. And finally, probably, effortless as well, you know, I like the look that's quite relaxed..baggy tee’s, boyish clothes, boyfriend kinda look.

What are your top nightlife spots, and how does your style vary on nights out?

If i'm honest I don't particularly go to one nightlife spot, but in general my kind of night life would be more music events; I’m really into my music. For example the other month I went to a London warehouse event (LWE), it was at Tobacco Docks, and to something like that, I would wear a baggy oversized tee, some chunky boots and then edge it up with something a little more feminine, say a choker, just to give it a bit more of a girly look to it. I think it was last week I went to another event in East London, at Boxpark, which is a pop up market/mall for different fashion brands. They had a really cool event, on it was a clothing shop, who got in some really cool DJ’s and had a little party within the shop. To something like that I would typically wear, an oversized leather dress, so pretty relaxed with an oversized coat and just some cute little shoes.

What is your favourite 90’s revival trend? and how would you style it in the present?

That's actually really easy for me, and that's CHOKERS! I absolutely love them at the moment, I think they look so great with absolutely everything; and boys love them to (Robyn giggles)

*cough* *cough* girls Gaz is living proof of this fact..

If you could swap your style with a celebrity for the day who would it be and why?

It would definitely be the Olsen twins. I love what they wear, they’re just pretty sick.

Which trend would you love to see come back into fashion in 2015?

Umm, actually, a trend that I quite like would probably be the 1920’s. Quite a random one to say really but purely just because all of the women look beautiful and it’s a super feminine look. Again it’s quite relaxed clothing but you’ve got the embellishment, feathers and the cute little eye flicks as well, so yeah, it would be that.

If you could walk for one runway show in the world which would you choose and why?

It would have to be Victorias Secret, their runway shows are absolutely insane, and I just love how it’s so much fun, they're just respected women, and beautiful girls in what they do, so would defo be them!

5 Things We Love To Hate About Fashion..

1. When sales don't have your size!

Theres nothing worse than finding that beautiful dress you've been hunting for all season and the sizing just isn't cutting it. This event can go one of two ways..too small or too big; leaving you with the fantastic decision of looking like a suffocating cat trying to get threw its cat flap after one to many tins of iams; or turning up at the party drenched by a dress designed to fit an Essex boy in bulking season.

 2. The pointed court:

Ahhhhh the court shoe, think Louboutin, Manolo Blahnik, crushed toes and blisters. We love the summer court shoe, Infact it may be the most perfect style ever to exist; but oh the pain that comes from the devils design! From mangled baby toes, to permentally triangular feet, court shoes leave our feet looking more Poundland than Prada, but in the essence of all things fashion.. Beauty is pain!

3. The after party:

Summer is the festival season and fashion at its height, spine tingling tracks and foreheads encrusted with bindis and glitter. Fashion doesn't get more perfect than at this time of year. We spend months looking for our killer bodysuits and netted cycling shorts to adorn us at such events..but come the after party, we leave looking more middle aged mum at the gym, than Ibiza goddess. Not only has our make up been completely wiped from our face by the tsunami of sweat, usually bought on by awkward conversations with just as unsober strangers, but also our top knots seem to flop at the first sign of a warehouse or club; after a day spent soaking up the sun. Our hair and make up seem to tell us "No Girl, you don't look cool anymore, go home, get some rest" but our body's tell us "no girl you keep doing your thang"

4. Finding your perfect jeans:

Put it this way jeans are that basic item that's not so basic, finding a pair of snug fitting jeans could possibly be hard than running the marathon or getting your hair band out of a messy bun; two very challenging events. Jeans are always either to tight on the legs but to baggy on the feet, or perfect on the legs and gaping at the waist, it's a vicious circle that is inevitably unavoidable. We admit the Joni Jean is a pretty tough contender and usually what we settle for, but even with their perfect tightness and ability to make your booty look oh so Kimmy K we all know that McDonald's is a no go when wearing them, and no jeans are ever gonna be perfect if you can eat a Big Mac in them, are they?

5. Small tits:

This is a personal one for me, don't get me wrong I've heard the whole small boobs are so Chanel, and the "I wish I could wear that, my boobs are to big" compliments. But to all you big boobed bitches out there, please never wish tiny tit syndrome upon yourself! I kid you not try make a deep plunging v neck seem appealing to any man, when you practically scream "I'm a 5 year old" whilst walking into a club. I'm not saying we want double D's but a juicy bit of cleavage and a bit of movement of fat from the belly to chest area wouldn't go a miss.

Back To The Future - The Revival of All Things 90’s

Think 1991, your outside Cafe Mambos, 8pm, watching the sunset surrounded by ravers, and misbehavers, preparing to see your favourite DJ smash it on the decks, it’s 90’s Summer and fashion is in the process of changing forever.

From platform boots and chokers, to top knots and mesh, the 90’s held some of the best and worst clothes we’ve ever seen. Rather like marmite the 90’s was a love it or hate it type decade, but the way it has been revived is inarguably, love it, love it and love it even more. It’s amazing how we’ve taken the platform boot, a trend I'm sure NO ONE expect to re-emerge in what was the overly modernised 2010’s, but yet someone somewhere tweaked it, reworked in and invented the cleated sole, no doubt one of our favourite trends of 2014 summer, we as the youth are taking the 90’s and nipping and tucking it to create the best decade for fashion in years and years. With Be Worn in the midst of this movement, stocking everything from chokers, to mesh to killer heels, and with neoprenes and oversized tee’s in store for A/W we couldn't get more 90’s if we tried!

It’s music truly, that I feel we have to thank for the revival of 90’s fashion trends, the rise of warehouse parties, festivals and Ibiza and more importantly, house music, has shaped and altered our mind set in terms of fashion. People are looking for more retro, quirky pieces, that make them standout in a rave full of fashion conscious and usually, also completely nutty sea of people, who's love for music and fashion resonates through the room. But second to that the 90’s considered comfort, with temperatures at a warehouse party being second to that of a hot beach in Egypt at the height of summer, bodysuits and satin running shorts meant you were cool but still rocking it at the same time.

Our favourite trends, or at least my favourite trends of the 90’s have got to be, Chokers, Bindi’s and Bodysuits. Think American Apparel meets Urban Outfitters, In a clash of grunge, festival and sports inspired fashion. Highly driven by celebrities such as, The Spice Girls, Gwen Stefani and Kate Moss, The 90’s was a decade where quiet frankly, people didn't care, the whackier the better, and when whacky became the norm,  we just made it more whacky. If you had of told us 4 years ago we would be sauntering around festivals with bindis glued to our overly sweaty foreheads, we probably would have laughed, but its open mindedness that has got the nation here, and now I wonder what I did before the epidemic that is bindi madness, they complete an outfit, decorate your face better than any kind of make up could, and there are limitless designs and colours for absolutely everyone. Not to mention its uber cultural, and super hot.

At Be Worn we've taken like a duck to water, or even a spice girl to metallic moon boots; to the current 90’s trend. We currently stock a vast range of mesh, chokers and cleated sole shoes, and with much more to come for A/W we intend to create an army of walking spice girls, who’ll take the world by storm.
