10 Signs You're NOT A Basic Bitch

We at Be Worn have one clear aim; to get our clothing noticed and on to the backs of the nations finest, including all of you Be Worn bitches, who we adore, without you guys there would be no us...and without us, that only means one thing...a nation of basic bitches.

Ever wondered what is takes to go from basic to fan-f***ing-tastic? Here's a list we devised of 10 traits that prove you aren't a basic. Enjoy, and thank us later..

1. You knew chokers and braids were cool a year ago, and everyone told you, that you were mad. Now you see people rocking up to afterparties looking like Sean Paul in 2004; and you're just like.."yeah bitch, I told you"

2. You know exactly what time your favourite track starts on almost every mixtape on sound cloud to the millisecond.

3. You manage to end up backstage at most events you go to and have probably been hit on by a DJ at least once.

4. You new about 'those' trainers before they'd even dropped the drop date.

5. You will ALWAYS order a bottle of wine and when the bartender asks "how many glasses?" Your answer is always ONE.

6. You know you have work at 9 in the morning, but your still intent on heading to xoyo for an all night session. After all work won't be as dull when you're in another universe.

7. You know there's no such thing as too much mesh, it's the only thing acceptable to wear double of.

8. There's no shade of lipstick or hair colour you haven't tried, black, purple, pink. You're hot sh*t and you can own it.

9. You've probably been to Ibiza at least once this year and your intent you'll definitely live there one day, after you cried for 3 days after your return. Your outfits also kicked arse day in, day out.

10. You wear Be Worn..of course!

GIRL OF THE MONTH: AUGUST - ROBYN BEVAN (PART 1)

Robyn Bevan talks, the Olsen twins, being braless, and shows us her exceptional VS walk in our exclusive interview for Augusts, Girl Of The Month.

We chose Robyn, a dancer, model and all round fashionista, as our first EVER girl of the month (how fricking exciting). Her love for the London music and fashion scene optimises the things we at Be Worn love. And with her witty, laid-back and quirky sense of humour, who wouldn't want to meet Robyn. We asked Robyn to choose an outfit that she thought defined her sense of style and, I've never seen someone look so utterly, 'WOW' in a pair of vintage dungarees and a stripy tee; ohhh how we all wish the tomboy look could be for us, and this girl does it bloody perfectly. Below is an interview with the lady herself, so if you love a bit of Box Park or simply want to take a peak at Robyn's style make yourself a cuppa (2 sugars please!), put your jim jams on and scroll down, you won't regret the chance to hear from the sickest girl about town.

If you could sum up your style in three words what would they be and why have you chosen these three words?

Spontaneous, that would be because my style can completely vary from day to day; I can see something one day and think how I can adapt that to suit my own personal style. Probably quite tomboyish I’d say; you’ll very, very rarely catch me wearing a dress, I think I own one and it’s leather. And finally, probably, effortless as well, you know, I like the look that's quite relaxed..baggy tee’s, boyish clothes, boyfriend kinda look.

What are your top nightlife spots, and how does your style vary on nights out?

If i'm honest I don't particularly go to one nightlife spot, but in general my kind of night life would be more music events; I’m really into my music. For example the other month I went to a London warehouse event (LWE), it was at Tobacco Docks, and to something like that, I would wear a baggy oversized tee, some chunky boots and then edge it up with something a little more feminine, say a choker, just to give it a bit more of a girly look to it. I think it was last week I went to another event in East London, at Boxpark, which is a pop up market/mall for different fashion brands. They had a really cool event, on it was a clothing shop, who got in some really cool DJ’s and had a little party within the shop. To something like that I would typically wear, an oversized leather dress, so pretty relaxed with an oversized coat and just some cute little shoes.

What is your favourite 90’s revival trend? and how would you style it in the present?

That's actually really easy for me, and that's CHOKERS! I absolutely love them at the moment, I think they look so great with absolutely everything; and boys love them to (Robyn giggles)

*cough* *cough* girls Gaz is living proof of this fact..

If you could swap your style with a celebrity for the day who would it be and why?

It would definitely be the Olsen twins. I love what they wear, they’re just pretty sick.

Which trend would you love to see come back into fashion in 2015?

Umm, actually, a trend that I quite like would probably be the 1920’s. Quite a random one to say really but purely just because all of the women look beautiful and it’s a super feminine look. Again it’s quite relaxed clothing but you’ve got the embellishment, feathers and the cute little eye flicks as well, so yeah, it would be that.

If you could walk for one runway show in the world which would you choose and why?

It would have to be Victorias Secret, their runway shows are absolutely insane, and I just love how it’s so much fun, they're just respected women, and beautiful girls in what they do, so would defo be them!
